O The Game Awards divulgou nesta segunda-feira (18) a lista completa dos indicados à premiação deste ano. Celebrando sua 10ª edição, o evento será realizado ao vivo no dia 12 de dezembro em Los Angeles, e será transmitido no YouTube por meio do canal oficial do TGA. 

Considerado o Oscar dos videogames, a cerimônia premia os melhores jogos eletrônicos de cada ano, e também contará com novos trailers e gameplays de futuros lançamentos. A escolha dos indicados e dos vencedores é realizada através de um júri especializado, mas uma porcentagem dos votos vem através da escolha do público.

A edição de 2024 conta com 96 indicados entre jogos, atores, equipes e personalidades do mundo gamer. Os jogos mais indicados foram Astro Bot e Final Fantasy VII, com sete indicações cada.

A Sony Interactive Entertainment é a distribuidora com o maior número de indicações, sendo 16 no total, seguida da Square Enix e Xbox com 12 cada e da Sega com 11.

A partir desta segunda (18) até 11 de dezembro, os fãs podem ajudar a escolher os vencedores em todas as categorias através de uma votação online na página oficial do The Game Awards.
