Beyoncé bateu recorde e se tornou a mulher com mais grammys na história, na noite do último domingo (14). O Grammy 2021 foi marcado por destaques femininos: Taylor Swift ganhou o prêmio de álbum do ano com “Folklore”, Billie Eilish levou melhor gravação com “Everything I Wanted”, a artista revelação foi Megan Thee Stallion e a música do ano foi “I can’t breathe”, de H.E.R.

A grande vencedora da noite foi Beyoncé, que levou 4 prêmios, e se tornou a mulher mais premiada da história, com 28 conquistas. A cantora está empatada com Quincy Jones e só fica atrás do maestro George Solti, com 31 prêmios. Sua filha Blue Ivy, de apenas 9 anos, também foi premiada pelo melhor clipe, com "Brown Skin Girl". 

A premiação também trouxe outros destaques. A rapper Cardi B tocou o trecho de um remix de “WAP” feito pelo DJ carioca Pedro Sampaio. Dois brasileiros receberam indicações: Chico Pinheiro na categoria de álbum de jazz latino e Bebel Gilberto em álbum de música global, mas nenhum deles foi premiado.

A premiação ainda contou com apresentações dos artistas Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, BTS, Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Brittany Howard e Taylor Swift.
