Aconteceu na noite desta quarta-feira (14), a premiação do Billboard Music Awards 2020, no Dolby Theatre, em Los Angeles. O evento que aconteceria em 29 de abril, foi adiado para ontem devido a pandemia do coronavírus. 

Apresentado pela cantora Kelly Clarkson, a noite foi marcada pelas apresentações de BTS, Bad Bunny, entre outros artistas, inclusive John Legend, que fez uma homenagem à esposa Chrissy Teigen. Recentemente, o casal perdeu um filho recém-nascido. 

O rapper americano Post Malone levou o prêmio em nove categorias, incluindo artista do ano. Outros destaques foram cantora Billie Eilish, o rapper Lil Nas X e o cantor e compositor Khalid.
