O Emmy Awards 2024 consagrou as produções “Xógum: A Gloriosa Saga do Japão”, “Hacks” e “Bebê Rena” como as grandes vencedoras nesse domingo (15), no Peacock Theater, em Los Angeles.

O evento, considerado o mais prestigiado prêmio da televisão norte-americana, destacou essas três séries em suas categorias principais.

“Xógum: A Gloriosa Saga do Japão”, transmitida pelo Disney+, foi eleita a 'Melhor Série Dramática', confirmando seu favoritismo ao conquistar quatro prêmios no total. A série “Bebê Rena”, da Netflix, também levou quatro estatuetas, sendo premiada como a 'Melhor Série Limitada'.

Na categoria de comédia, a grande vencedora foi “Hacks”, que surpreendeu ao levar o prêmio de 'Melhor Série Cômica', desbancando produções como “The Bear”, favorita ao título. “Hacks” encerrou a noite com três prêmios, incluindo o cobiçado troféu de encerramento da cerimônia.

Outras produções premiadas na noite são: “The Bear”, que também se destacou com quatro prêmios, além de “True Detective: Terra Noturna” e “Slow Horses”, que foram reconhecidas em suas respectivas categorias.

A cerimônia foi apresentada por Eugene Levy e Dan Levy, pai e filho conhecidos por seu trabalho na série “Schitt’s Creek”, que dominou o Emmy de 2020. A premiação deste ano, embora sem grandes surpresas, consolidou o sucesso dessas séries que já vinham sendo amplamente elogiadas pela crítica.
